Almost 100 participants at the Block Magic Final Conference: a successful closing event for an exciting project

The final Block Magic conference was organised by the consortium as a final closing event on November 30, 2013 in the Università Pontificia Salesiana in Rome. The event was attended by almost 100 participants, mainly from Italy. The welcoming speech was given by Prof. Zbigneiw Formella, Director of the Psychology Institute of the Università Pontificia Salesiana. Hands-on workshop with Block Magic for Spanish pre-service teachers

Second cycle of Block Magic trials in the Greek primary school

A second implementation of Block Magic was realized on October-November 2013 in which 178 students with no special needs from Primary School executed Block Magic learning activities. Block Magic was present at the Smart EDUcation & TECHnology days in Naples

The 10th October 2013, in the framework of Smart EDUcation &TECHnology days (in Italian “3 giorni per la scuola”) in thebuildings of Città della Scienza in Naples, Orazio Miglino and Raffaele Di Fuccio presented BlockMagic. The workshop was called “How some traditional psyco-pedagogical technics could be enhanced using the Smart Technologies: the Block Magic project” and the BlockMagic team noted interests in the kit. Block Magic was presented to 70 people at the University of Dresden

The 21th October 2013 Professor Wolfgang Donsbach and Anna Brüsehaber presented the Block Magic project in Dresden in the Technical University of Dresden. The BlockMagic Partner involved doctors, professors and students of different faculties, e.g. educational technologies, media education, science of educations or lectureship, in order to discuss about the contents, achievements and potentialities of the project. The total number of the attendances were about 70, and at the end of the speeches they had the chance to ask questions
